Nordic Blades are compatible with NNN X-country ski boots. NIS binding can be mounted on this Nordic skate with special milled upper. The binding is easily mounted without using screws or bolts; therefore, the binding is 40% lighter than regular bindings. Blade fits NIS NNN systems by: Rossignol(Rottefella), Fischer, Salomon. NNN BC and XC.
Bindings not included and sold separately.
Hardware kit is required to mount any non-NIS system binding.

If you do not want NIS slide-on bindings, purchase the Zandstra Hardware Kit and attach any binding you like, NNN, SNS, or even a Rottefella NNN-BC Manual Back Country. The position of all bindings can be adjusted according to personal preference, so that the right balance can be found.

ZANDSTRA NIS Nordic Blades

Nordic skates you can mount NIS bindings on! Reuse your cross-country ski bindings and boots to go skating on frozen ponds, canals, or ovals. This NIS model of blade is machined to accommodate NIS bindings such as the Rottefella Performance bindings or Xcelerator bindings.

This means you can grab your cross country ski boots (boots for skate technique with ankle support) and hit the rinks. Your heel is unattached to the blade allowing you to further extend your push and get the “clap skate feel“.

Surprisingly easy to get the hang of using. Cornering and skidding is fun on these if skating in a straight line becomes dull. Scoop up a pair, keep an eye on the status of pond ice, and enjoy another outdoor winter hobby!
