The EVO Krypton 12C27 Chrome Short Track Blade is designed for agility, responsiveness and durability. Chrome dates back to the ordinal Maple Chrome on which inspired the designed. Moreover a blade offering excellent value for money.

The 12C27 is durable steel, which maintains excellent edge quality and sharpness.

12C27 is manufactured to the same specifications and tolerances as our PM and Bi-metal runners.

Sandvik 12c27 Stainless Steel Chemical composition
0.6% of Carbon: It improves hardness and wear/corrosion resistance, but a high amount of it decreases strength. 13.5% of Chromium: For tensile strength and Edge retention and enhances corrosion resistance and wear resistance. 0.4% of Manganese: Increases hardness and brittleness. 0.4% of Silicon: Increases strength like Manganese. 0.03% of Phosphorus: Increases strength. 0.03% of Sulfur: Increases machinability, and decreases strength.

The presence of more than 12% of chromium makes the Sandvik 12c27 a stainless steel, with 0.6% of carbon, which is a bit higher compared to low-end steels.
