The NORTON AS-22 Hard ASKANAS  POLISHING STONE produces one of the the keenest edges on Speed skate blades. As well as laboratory blades, surgical instruments  and pocket knives.

Equally important these Hard Arkansas stones are made of novaculite and are very dense fine grained natural stones, ideal for creating the sharpest, most razor-like edges and precise, polished finishes.

In addition Stone can be used dry but using oil will increase the sharpening action and then minimize the clogging of the stones surface.
