Description
The Crouch neck guard is very popular for short track as well as hockey.
Canadian made and manufactured.
im Crouch Collars are made with ballistic nylon for maximum protection from neck lacerations, and reinforced with a thin layer of shock absorbing foam in the neck band. Soft to the touch and flexible compared to the rigid models we often see from competitors.
This “Soft Combo” model features a bib for increased protection below the neck and additional comfort. We highly recommend this bib style over the simple “band” style player neck guards which only provide a small strip of protection across a players neck leaving much of the neck exposed.
The lightweight, washable neck guard provides superior comfort and fit.
Kim Crouch Collars are BNQ certified. Complies with Minor Hockey requirement from Hockey Canada.

Decades after he nearly died, hockey player asks why neck guards still aren’t mandatory
A neck guard (also called a Kim Crouch collar) is a piece of protective equipment worn by players around the neck area, particularly by (though not exclusively) players in the ice skating team sports of ice hockey, bandy, ringette, and rinkball.
The guard is designed to prevent injury to the neck by ice hockey pucks, ringette rings, bandy balls, the metal blades on ice skates, and various types of sticks, i.e. ice hockey sticks. This piece is especially critical to goaltenders, especially ice hockey goaltenders, who are more likely at risk to be injured in this area.
Large only
